Panel Equipment (PE)
 The Panel Equipment, (PE) is installed at the building/Complex's different entrances to provide video, speech communications, access control and access to the apartments, and to other locations in the complex.

Apartment Equipment (AE)
The basic functionality of the Apartment Equipment (AE) is to provide a video intercom console for the apartments and enable Video and speech communications with the Panel Equipment (PE's), other AE's throughout the building/complex and with management stations (MS's), as well as calling out of the complex to regular phones. The AE also provides control functionality of different systems in the Apartment, and in the complex. All AE's in the complex can connect simultaneously, to an unlimited number of PE's at entrances, other AE's, the MS's, and to the public phone network.

Video Matrix Equipment (VME)
The basic functionality of the Video Matrix Equipment (VME) is switching video matrix (8 to 4) amongst 4 lines & 4 local cameras (or amongst 8 cameras). I.e. to switch a selected composite video input (one from eight) from different cameras to the composite video output, which connected to the requested video monitor (one from four).
The VME is a stand alone version of the VID4 or VID4_RF card.
The VME could be controlled by any PU version (via RS232 serial communication of the DIG4 card
